DEVELOPMENT TECHNICIAN
This position will assist in conducting projects in the efforts to develop vaccination methods or vaccines for commercial use by Vaxin and will report to the Development Department Lab Manager. The essential duties of this position include taking direction from supervisors to generate and properly document all scientific data on projects and maintaining compliance with lab operating procedures. Qualifications for the position include at least 2 years of experience in a biomedical lab, strong communication skills – both orally and written, knowledge of general scientific techniques and ability to learn others, and a B.S. or B.A. in a scientific field. RESEARCH TECHNICIAN
This position will assist in conducting projects in the efforts to create and develop vaccination methods or vaccines for commercial use by Vaxin and will report to a Research Department Scientist. The essential duties of this position include taking direction from supervisors to generate and properly document all scientific data on projects including cultivating cells and routine recombinant DNA techniques, and maintaining compliance with lab operating procedures. Qualifications for the position include at least 2 years of experience in a biomedical lab, strong communication skills – both orally and written, some computer experience, knowledge of general scientific techniques and ability to learn others, and a B.S. or B.A. in a scientific field. A M.S. in a biomedical related field and experience working with mice are preferred.

R&D POSITIONS

NASAL & EPICUTANEOUS VACCINES
Vaxin Inc. is seeking highly motivated individuals to join its expanding team, focusing on the development of vectored nasal and epicutaneous vaccines. We are seeking a Director to start and build the Development Department. This position requires a PhD degree and relevant experience in industry with a demonstrated record of accomplishment. The successful candidate will have a strong desire and ability to build on the existing vaccine technology, to work closely with management in defining and implementing corporate strategy, to play a lead role in the expansion of the program, and to ensure quality development of vectored vaccines.
